Habitat for Humanity Nova Scotia is a non-profit organization working towards a Nova Scotia where everyone has a safe and decent place to live.

Habitat for Humanity was established in Halifax in 1992 as Habitat for Humanity Halifax Dartmouth. In 2011, we became Habitat for Humanity Nova Scotia, a provincial affiliate of Habitat for Humanity Canada. To date we have built 66 homes throughout the Province. Habitat for Humanity Nova Scotia is active in Halifax region, and also has Chapters in Cape Breton, Oxford, South Shore and Pictou County.

The ReStore is a building supply and home renovation store that accepts and resells new and gently-used furniture, building materials and home décor items. Proceeds from The ReStore help fund Habitat for Humanity Nova Scotia.
